What communication tools and processes do you use?
We integrate into your workflow — Slack, Microsoft Teams, Jira, Trello, Asana, GitHub, GitLab, or Bitbucket. We hold daily standups, weekly sprint reviews, and send monthly progress reports. You have full visibility at all times.
How do you handle time zone differences?
We operate on IST (UTC+5:30), which gives a healthy daily overlap with the UK and Europe (we cover their mornings and our afternoons) and a live window with US East Coast mornings, when our evening team is online. We schedule recurring calls at times that suit your team, flex hours where needed for steady US overlap, and stay responsive on Slack and WhatsApp throughout your working day.
Can I scale the team up or down?
Yes — scaling is one of the key advantages of an offshore model. For dedicated team engagements, you can add or remove developers with 2 weeks' notice. We can scale from 1 developer to a 20+ person team.
What if a developer isn't the right fit?
Just tell us. For dedicated and staff-augmentation engagements, if someone isn't meeting your bar, we'll replace them at no extra cost and manage the handover so your timeline keeps moving. Our monthly per-developer billing means you're never locked into a long contract for a fit that isn't working.

How do you ensure code quality?
Every project follows mandatory peer code reviews, automated testing (unit, integration, E2E), and a dedicated QA phase before delivery. We use tools like SonarQube, ESLint, and GitHub Actions for CI/CD. Senior engineers review all code before it is delivered to clients.
What is your development methodology?
We follow Agile/Scrum with 2-week sprints. Each sprint begins with planning, ends with a demo and retrospective, and delivers working software. For larger projects we also use SAFe (Scaled Agile Framework). For maintenance/support engagements we use Kanban.
Do you provide post-launch support and maintenance?
Yes. We offer ongoing support and maintenance contracts after project delivery. This includes bug fixes, performance monitoring, security patches, and feature enhancements. Monthly retainer plans start from $500/month depending on the complexity of the system.
Do you sign an NDA before sharing project details?
Absolutely. We sign a mutual NDA before any project discussion begins, so your idea, codebase, and business details stay fully confidential. Full IP assignment is written into every contract — an NDA is signed before work begins, and ownership of the code, designs and infrastructure transfers to you as milestones are paid.

Yes. We routinely onboard into existing codebases. Our engineers start with a code audit and documentation review, then begin contributing within the first week. We follow your existing conventions and architecture decisions.

They use your tools, follow your processes, attend your standups, and report to you directly. Mexilet sets this up for you without requiring you to open a legal entity in India.
Why choose India over other outsourcing destinations like Eastern Europe or the Philippines?
India has one of the world's largest English-speaking engineering workforces, deep specialization in AI/ML, cloud, and enterprise software, and competitive pricing. Eastern Europe offers similar time zones to the UK but at higher cost. The Philippines is strong in customer support but has a smaller engineering talent pool.
